Welcome to Tukawa !
Tukawa is a hostel in the middle of a coffee and banana farm. Located in the countryside of Filandia (1h15 from Salento), surrounded by mountain ranges and 2 streams, our hostel offers accommodation from dormitories to lodge type cabins. We offer various nature activities, on the farm and in the surrounding area, to help you discover all the treasures of the Colombian countryside. As an old slogan for the promotion of tourism in Colombia says: "The only risk is that you'll want to stay."

The START
Our history
We are 3 French friends, Mathieu (the founder of the project), Dimitri (the host of Tukawa) and Mathias (the financier of the team). We decided in 2016 to move to Colombia with a hostel project on the coast. After many twists and turns, in 2018 we finally bought a coffee farm in Filandia, in Quindio. We set up a sustainable and pesticide-free agriculture. Today we produce 3 tons of coffee and between 10 and 15 tons of bananas per year. At the same time, in 2021 we open a hostel in the middle of the farm to share everything we discovered in the Colombian countryside that welcomed us.
