OUR TEAM

Our History

We are 3 French friends, Mathieu (the founder of the project), Dimitri (the host of Tukawa) and Mathias (the finance guy of the team). We decided in 2016 to go to Colombia with the project of opening a hostel on the coast. After many twists and turns, in 2018 we finally bought a coffee farm in Filandia, Quindio. We implemented a sustainable and pesticide-free agriculture. Today we produce 3 tons of coffee and between 10 and 15 tons of bananas per year. At the same time, in 2021, we have opened a hostel in the middle of the farm to share all that we have discovered in the Colombian countryside that has welcomed us.

Carpentry team

All our furniture and all the wooden elements of the hostel are made on our own carpentry. We are very proud of this and we can thank Modesto, Leo and now John Jairo.

Don Oscar lives with us on the farm. He was there before we arrived, knows every inch of the land and, thanks to his experience, we were able to start the project with no experience in coffee production. Every week, we review together the needs of the farm and complete the team accordingly.

small corner of paradise in the middle of a magnificent exuberant nature. The only risk of going to this hotel is not wanting to leave. In addition, the welcome is very friendly and the whole team is wonderful. The food is varied. We were in family with 5 small house for us very nicely decorated with taste, a terrace with an unassailable view. A swimming pool to cool off. Finally, the three French who created this project are TOP. During our short stay in this hotel we had a small fireworks show and tasted the real French cheese.
